What are Lightroom Presets?
Lightroom Presets as the name suggests 'Lightroom' is a photo editing, color grading, color correcting software and 'Presets' means pre settings of the editing. They are like filters in Instagram and Snapchat but these are more professional. You just have to take a photo and paste the preset settings to your photo and its done preset editing is applied to your photo, this is how lightroom presets works but this is just a brief about lightroom presets. I will explain the whole process in this page.
Lightroom Presets includes settings like:

- Whites and Blacks
- Tonal Curve (which is very important)

How do Lightroom Presets Work?
They are just pre settings of edits to used on photos can only be used on Lightroom.
There are 2 types of Lightroom Preset formats among them one is DNG and other one is XMP.
DNG: This type of lightroom presets format is mainly used in mobile devices and they are called as copy paste settings which can be used by following few steps. Just open the DNG file in Adobe Lightroom Software and then copy settings and open any one of your photo and paste settings.
XMP: This type of lightroom presets format is mainly used in desktop or laptop devices and they are called as Just one click presets and can be used by following some simple steps. Just you have to import all the XMP files to Adobe Lightroom Software and open any one of your photo and go to presets section and select the desired preset on your photos.
LRTemplate: These are the old formats of Lightroom Presets which are discontinued in most of the Lightroom versions so better to use DNG or XMP.
